Interior Design in 2026: In Pursuit of the Lasting

Every year, countless “interior trend” lists are published, and most are forgotten the next year. Our aim here is not to count fashions, but to address the approaches we believe will endure in 2026, along with the reasons behind them.

1. Material Honesty

Imitation surfaces are giving way to real materials. Allowing wood, stone and metal to age with their own texture is being rediscovered as a value that adds depth to a space over time.

2. Flexible, Multifunctional Spaces

In the post-pandemic era, spaces are expected not to be locked into a single function. Good design adapts gently to different uses throughout the day.

“The luxury of a space lies not in its material, but in how well it serves people.”

3. Healthy Indoor Air and Natural Light

  • Selection of low-emission materials
  • Layouts that carry daylight deep into the space
  • Bringing nature in through biophilic design
  • Acoustic comfort becoming a design priority

4. Less, but Right

Excessive decoration is giving way to deliberate simplicity. Fewer objects, but each more meaningful and durable.

Conclusion

The real trend of 2026 is not a colour or a material; it is permanence. A good interior keeps being good even after the fashion ends.
